PICTURES FROM THE HISTORY OF TASHKENT
Senior researcher of the Center, Candidate of Historical Sciences Khairiya Burieva took part in a two-part TV show on the history of Tashkent, the etymology of the toponym "Tashkent". During the historical period, he shared with the audience his scientific knowledge about the topographic structure of the city and the activities of its social and cultural institutions. The conversation was attended by scientists from the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Islamic University.
The program was organized in the "Historical Question" program of the "History of Uzbekistan" TV channel in two parts, the first part was broadcast live on March 15, 2022, and the second part on March 17.
