In the year of the chairmanship of Uzbekistan in the SCO in May 2022 in London, the well-known international publishing house Routledge published the book “The Shanghai Cooperation Organization: exploring new Horizons” (“Shanghai Cooperation Organization: opening new horizons”). The book is indexed by the well-known international database Scopus and covers the history of the formation and transformation of the SCO, the main aspects of the organization's activities in the context of globalization of modern threats and challenges. This publication is useful for a wide range of readers, scientists and politicians interested in the processes of regionalism and universalism in international relations. The work was prepared by researchers from the SCO countries and abroad, from Uzbekistan the authors of the sections of the collective book are Professor of the Tashkent Law University Omonulla Mukhamedzhanov and head of the department of the Center for Contemporary History of Uzbekistan under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professor Mirzokhid Rakhimov.
